Stanley Jaffee

Biography

Taking pictures since he was old enough to hold a camera, Jaffee developed an eye for architecture and the structural beauty of trees and particularly flowers and exotic plants. As an art collector he learned from artists such as Georgia O’Keeffe who transformed flowers into modern art. Andy Warhol’s Flowers series from the early ‘60s influenced his taste for color and bold design in his current work.

Jaffee began his successful career in Wealth Management with Merrill Lynch 50 years ago and recently retired with UBS. Being involved with many arts organizations in Miami over the years opened the doors to wonderful private collections nationwide. While in New York for business and traveling extensively always included visits to major museums which enabled him to enhance his artistic eye.

Always interested in the latest technology with computers and photographic equipment made a perfect match with his love of art to create an extensive portfolio which is constantly evolving. His current work has found its way into the body of some wonderful collections which is very rewarding and flattering to the artist.
