Artist Statement

As a child I was fascinated by the images I found everywhere. I remember a humidity stain in one of the walls in my room that every night I would turn into a different story.
This game I played for years then became an exercise that I used as a beginning in order to express what I felt inside.
Sometimes, from the spontaneous mixing of fluid colors and feelings, every piece of work appears to form abstract shapes, other times figures and symbols, that define the art piece.
This process brings light to my thoughts and feelings and therefore every piece of art I make turns into an enigma that I have to solve, and a project that I have to work on. My major aim is to sustain that creative moment and build in it a bridge between reality and what is imaginary; between what is possible and what isn’t, between body and soul.

Art for me is the spirituality that accompanies me along my life.
