About Apryll Penny Feldman
Apryll Penny Feldman was born in Queens, New York. Her Family moved to South Florida, where her young adult years were spent. Beginning at an early age, art was always part of her life.
After college and marriage she returned to New York to raise a family.
As a primarily self taught artist with little formal training, art has been an ongoing endeavor.
Eventually sculpting became her passion and focus.
Artist Statement
Sculpting fills my heart and allows me to share my emotions with others.
My life is enriched by the ability to work in two mediums.
Each time I sculpt … I embark on a wondrous journey.
Stone is mysterious and there is a private conversation with each piece as it is carved, releasing its hidden treasure.
Clay has a compelling energy … and as I work with it … something calls out … its voice is both sensual and whimsical.
