John Spec

John Spec was born in Pennsylvania during the 1960’s and was raised with an appreciation for the arts from a young age.
He played the piano and violin as a youth and participated in the music and arts programs in school. As John grew older
he realized that painting was a great outlet for his artistic expression and that this expression brought balance and harmony to his life.

Color, texture, and light blended with human emotion is what John strives for in his work. The variation of brush strokes, colors, and textures are expressive and thought provoking. Crystals are added to some of the paintings to create a feeling of light and movement.

John explains, “My paintings feel alive because they appear to change throughout the day.”
