Artist Statement

"Painting is part of a ritual, a process of abstraction, a spiritual elevation. Slowly I prepare the color palette, I sit down to the canvas, and I observe I detail; take a deep breath and start painting. Painting is my passion and that way I connect with my spirit, I go into another dimension where my mind is filled with beauty, magic, happiness and peace. At that moment I stop thinking; and a divine power flows through me. Since my childhood this process has always been inside me, and as a self–taught artist is a process of internal growth by which I live and vibrate...

I feel a special charm to work on funds, soft textures and varied vivid colors, always inspired in nature. Also experimenting with different materials and tools combined with acrylics and oils, has given me the strength to give that special sparkle where the feminine figure, beauty and delicacy of women is always implied in my work.
I want to express through the very large and languid eyes, which are in search of something wonderful, that big and magical things always happen. This is the wish to convey to all who observe my work...

Through The abstract painting I express that the movement can create a feeling, accompanied by strong colors that can communicate warmth and mystery, a place that may have an enigmatic depth and a splash of color can show character or unabashedly. I think the conjunction of abstract elements can create a magical image to viewers."
